This quote by Gertrude Stein sums it up for me. I'm a lover of language,
and I'm lucky enough to live a life helping words to do what they want to
do and as they have to do. After earning my MFA in Writing for Children and Young
Adults from Hamline University, I'm blessed to be able to write for young
readers and mentor young writers .
